First, we
ask that you fellowship with us at either (or both) our monthly SUFC
luncheons, and our Prayer fellowship times in order to sense a oneness
of spirit with our Siouxland United for Christ organization.
We have a statement of mission/purpose and a basic set of
Statements of Christian Faith which we share that keep us united for
Christ. (See these
Statements on “Our Mission” page.
We invite you to attend our monthly meetings.
The monthly SUFC luncheon is held on the 4th Wednesday
of each month. Please click on the “Coming Events” page to check our
place and meeting time.
Our Prayer
fellowship meets once each month, on the 2nd Tuesday morning
at
Noon
. We are invited to various
churches and the schedule can be found on the “Coming Events” page.
We try to limit our prayer fellowship to under an hour and often
juice/coffee and a donut or “goodie” is shared by the host pastor
for those who can stay a few extra moments.
If your spirit agrees with our Siouxland United for Christ stand,
purpose and beliefs, you are invited to participate in being listed on
our Website at www.sufc.org
We have an application/information form that tells how we’ve
organized the website and the costs involved.
We have “suggested” a yearly fee of $15. per
church/organization that is both listed and given a “page” on our
site. If a church already
has a website, there can be a link shown on your page on our site that
will get folks to your site. If you’d like to add 2,3 or 4 pages for
your organization and make this your website, that can be arranged too
for an additional one time set-up fee.
We have a link from
the Sioux City Chamber of Commerce for people who want information on
churches when they visit the Chamber’s site.
If this yearly fee is more than a church can afford right now, we
will waive the cost, and trust that we can find among the 20 to 25+
churches we expect to be participating, enough will be coming in to
cover our yearly maintenance costs (involving a host for our site and
the yearly domain name registration fee).
Please request this application/information form from either:
