“Uniting Siouxland Ministry Leaders to Make Christ Known” Siouxland United for Christ is an
organization of ministry leaders who are working and fellowshipping
together, serving our God and allowing Him to glorify Himself through the
body of Christ in our tri-state, Siouxland area. Our purpose: “Uniting Siouxland
Ministry Leaders to Make Christ Known” is accomplished in strategies,
actions and goals that show why we exist. 1.
We exist to work together as the
Body of Christ not as individual members (I Cor. 2.
We exist to be the leaders in
praying for our community. 3.
We exist to offer personal
fellowship and support to one another. (Hebrews 10:24-25) 4.
We exist in order to pool
together our resources so that we can make a positive impact on our
community for the glory of God. (Matthew 5:16) Since there are a variety of Christian
ministries and churches that are involved in Siouxland United for Christ (SUFC)
we have agreed upon a statement of Faith that affirms our beliefs. SUFC
STATEMENT OF FAITH
1.
We believe the Bible to be the
only inspired, authoritative Word of God. 2.
We believe that there is one
Creator God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy
Spirit. 3.
We believe in the deity of our
Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His
miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in
His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father,
and in His personal return in power and glory. 4.
We believe that the salvation of
the lost and sinful people comes through repentance personal faith, and
regeneration by the Holy Spirit. 5.
We believe in the present
ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled
to live a godly life. 6.
We believe in the resurrection
of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection
of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. 7.
We believe in the spiritual
unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. We invite you to meet with us, and even
